300 Santas waiting for the start behind assorted Puddings and Elf Queens

This year, again we saw about 300 Santa’s trying to chase the Pudding along Weymouth Beach to raise funds for the Lions Club. Over 500 people watched as the Santa’s set off to follow the Pudding and assorted Elf and Fairy Queens in probably the most colourful Winter event on the South Coast. Soon after, there was the Chase the Elf race for younger Santa’s. Simultaneously, there was a Big Dog Walk along the Esplanade from Greenhill Gardens to Hope Square and in a week, we have the Great Christmas Swim across Weymouth Harbour and a week after that, we have one of Europe’s biggest Fancy Dress Parties in the Town for New Years Eve. Always something on in Weymouth.
