This year saw another great day for the Veterans Day Parade – temperatures in the 70’s (Fahrenheit) and not a cloud in the sky. Leading the parade were veterans celebrating the 50th anniversary of the withdrawal of troops from Aden. There were five marching bans, over 2,000 participants, many thousands of cheering spectators and a large historic military vehicle static display on the Pavilion car park. A fabulous day to celebrate the heroes who sacrificed for their country and for freedom.
